Check-in is contactless with a code from 4 pm, check-out is by 10 am. You’ll receive all arrival details in good time beforehand. We’re happy to welcome you in person and give you a short overview of everything you need to know about your accommodation. Just let us know a time when you’ll be there.

Just ask us in advance. We’ll see what we can arrange around other bookings and get back to you.

For Anno 1802 and The Cube (and soon The Onyx and The Corner), you get a full refund if you cancel up to 14 days before arrival and a 50% refund if you cancel between 13 and 7 days before arrival. After that, no refund is possible. For group bookings such as Das M6 (and soon M6 2.0 and The Grand Experience), you get a full refund up to 14 days before arrival and no refund after that. To be covered just in case, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. You’ll see the exact terms again in the booking step, before you confirm your booking.

Yes. One day before your arrival, we place a security deposit hold on your credit card: €250 for Anno 1802 and The Cube (and soon The Onyx and The Corner), €500 for group bookings such as Das M6 (and soon M6 2.0 and The Grand Experience). The amount is only reserved, not charged, and is released no later than 5 days after your departure if everything is in order. Please make sure your card limit covers it.

Yes. With Das M6 you book Anno 1802 and The Cube together: five bedrooms, three bathrooms and two kitchens for up to 10 adults + 2 infants. Celebrate together, sleep apart.

The two new apartments, The Onyx and The Corner, are currently being built. Once finished, they can be booked separately, together as M6 2.0, or with all four houses as The Grand Experience. You can already register your interest, with no obligation, via the enquiry form.

Anno 1802: up to 6 adults + 2 infants. The Cube: up to 4 adults + 1 infant. Both together as Das M6: up to 10 adults + 2 infants.

All bedrooms have high-quality box-spring beds. Anno 1802 has three bedrooms with 1 × 1.80 m and 2 × 1.60 m beds, plus an extra single bed in the gallery on request. The Cube has two bedrooms with 1.80 m and 1.40 m beds.

Yes, bed linen and towels are included. Each guest gets two bath towels and one hand towel. For longer stays we’re happy to change towels on request. Bathrobes are also available on request; slippers, a hairdryer and toiletries are already provided.

Both houses have a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge, bean-to-cup coffee machine, kettle, toaster and tea and coffee supplies. In Anno 1802 you cook in a country kitchen, in The Cube on a BORA induction hob.

Yes, there is Wi-Fi throughout both houses.

Yes, both houses have a washing machine and drying rack, plus an iron and ironing board.

Very much so. In Anno 1802 the gallery under the roof has a multi-game table (table football and much more) and a play corner for little ones, and outside there’s a garden with strawberries and raspberries. Both houses have board games and puzzles, and the sockets are childproofed.

Yes, we provide both in either house on request. Just let us know when you book.

Yes, up to two pets are welcome on request; the fee is €15 per pet per night. Dog liability insurance is required. Just drop us a line before booking.

Sofas and beds are dog-free zones, your dog stays on a lead on the property, and the garden is not a dog toilet. There’s a towel for clean paws at the entrance. You’ll find all the rules in detail for Anno 1802 and The Cube.

Yes, each house has two private parking spaces right by the door, so four for Das M6.

Yes, there’s a public EV charging point at the town hall, just two minutes’ walk from the house.

The bus stops right outside the house and takes about 15 minutes to Bamberg’s old town. Our tip: download the VGN app in advance – it has all departure times and lets you buy your ticket on your phone.

From Bamberg main station, take one of the city buses to the central bus station ZOB (Promenade), about 5 minutes. There, change to line 912 towards Stegaurach/Mühlendorf; after around 15 minutes you stop right outside the house. In the evening, line 937 runs as well. All travel details are under How to find us.

About 60 km, around 45 minutes by car. Without a car, take the U2 underground to Nuremberg main station, the train to Bamberg and the bus from there – about 1.5 hours in total.

Bamberg’s old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and there’s smoked beer, beer gardens and Franconian food too. Franconian Switzerland and the Steigerwald are close by for day trips, flat cycle paths run along the Regnitz, Main and Aurach, and you can walk into the Aurach valley straight from the house.
